EnergyOcean International 2012 is pleased to present the 9th annual Pioneer Awards. This program was created to honor individuals, companies and organizations that have made remarkable achievements in advancing the Offshore Renewable Industry in the United States.

This year’s completely revamped Pioneer Awards program will include the following prestigious categories:

• International Pioneer Award: Presented to an International company or organization that has made a significant contribution in the field of Ocean Energy in the past.

• Academic Pioneer Award: Presented to an organization (government, not-for-profit, educational institution, etc.) that has made a recent (in the last 5 years) contribution toward promoting and educating the public about Ocean Energy uses, feasibility, benefits and/or suitable locations for implementation of the technologies.

• Attendees Choice Individual Award: Presented to an individual(s) who has made a significant contribution in the field of Ocean Energy in the past.  The Advisory Committee will select the three finalists, and the winner will be voted on by all attendees of EnergyOcean International.

• Attendees Choice Organization Award: Presented to a company or organization that has successfully proven and demonstrated a commercially viable and scalable Ocean Energy power producing device.  The Advisory Committee will select the three finalists, and the winner will be voted on by all attendees of EnergyOcean International. 

Awards Presentation Ceremony:

The 9th Annual Pioneer Awards Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at EnergyOcean International 2012 in Boston, MA.
