2012 Call for Participation

EnergyOcean International is now issuing an industry-wide call for participation
for the 2012 Conference! 
 

Prospective authors are invited to submit a 200-300 word abstract(s) for consideration by the program committee by January 31, 2012. A government/industry-based committee has been formed to assist with programming this event and will review all submitted abstracts for consideration.

Submitting an Abstract:

Please submit your 200-300 word abstract(s) to Kayla Appelt, Conference Manager, via email to KaylaA@tradefairgroup.com no later than January 31, 2012. You will be notified 45 days after the submission deadline on whether or not your abstract was accepted. If your abstract is accepted, you must register for the event within 14 days of notification at the speaker registration rate.

Please submit abstracts as a Word Document.  No sales pitches will be accepted and presentations should be of the highest caliber, informative, forward-looking, and non-commercial.

Author's Guide:

Time Allowed — The timing allowed for presentations will be determined by the number of speakers in each session. Once all speakers have been confirmed you will be notified of the time length you have to present. The conference schedule is tight so please stay within your allotted time.

Media — Presenters should prepare presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint. EnergyOcean will provide the computer display equipment (multi-media Projector) and computer/operator.  Speakers will be responsible for bringing their own presentation to the conference on a flash drive or CD. Presentations will not be pre-loaded on the computers, but a technician will be onsite to assist with loading presentations.

Deadlines & Acceptance — If deadlines for Abstract or Presentations are not met, organizer may substitute another speaker. The Organizer reserves the right to reject any abstract or presentation at any time if deemed unsuitable for any reason including but not limited to content, length or media used. Organizer does not reserve or guarantee time slots for any speaker. Speaker must agree to be in the room at the beginning of his or her session. If your abstract is accepted, you will be required to register and pay the speaker fee within 14 days of your notification. Speaker must be registered and paid in full for paper to be accepted.
